This year for Lent, our Wednesday night worship will focus on the book Freeing Jesus –
Rediscovering Jesus as Friend, Teacher, Savior, Lord, Way, and Presence by Diana Butler Bass. We are going to explore together these different ways that Jesus is experienced. To do this, I am looking for people to share their thoughts on one of these topics. I would like to have 2-3 people each week who would be willing to be recorded on video for about 2 minutes. These videos would then be put together and shared as the “message” each week. If you have had a strong experience or connection to Jesus as: Friend, Teacher, Savior, Lord, Way or Presence, I invite you to sign up or talk with me. Sign-ups are in the Narthex and I look forward to recording and sharing these videos each week. Personal stories are a powerful way to see and hear our common experiences of our faith and I am excited to do this project with all of you.
