Dear people of Bethlehem,
The church council meets each month and a part of that discussion each time is our procedures for COVID-19. The council discussed the recent update from the CDC as well as the dramatic drop in cases in the country, our state, and our county. After that discussion the council has decided to update our language on the wearing of masks for worship.
The council has decided, in following with the CDC guidelines, that the wearing of masks is optional, and that each worshipper use their best discretion in whether it is the right decision to personally wear a mask or not. A friendly reminder, as we make this transition: please be mindful and respectful of all worshippers and their decision. If you see someone with a mask on, please be considerate before sitting right next to them as they may wish to practice social distancing.
We appreciate how much each of you has done to continue to help this place be a safe and uplifting place during the pandemic. Thank you.
Finally, I just want to make sure that we all know that the guidelines will continue to be evaluated each month and if any changes are made, we will make sure to inform you in a timely manner.
Blessings,
Pastor Brian
