A NEW ministry: Flowers for Veterans. Carol Savoie and Arlene Jacobson are starting a new ministry where they will place flowers at the grave sites of those who have ties to Bethlehem and have been interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in North Phoenix. They will be placing flowers 3-4 times a year (February with spring flowers, May with patriotic flowers, October with fall flowers, and in December they will participate with “Wreaths Across America.”) They will say a prayer as they place the flowers and can take a photo and send it to you if you have a smart phone or computer. To do this, they need your help! They need the information to find your loved one: your loved one’s name, relationship, location (it’s a huge cemetery), your phone number, and your email address. If you don’t have anyone there, you can still help! If you have extra silk or nice plastic flowers, you can donate them.
