Jonah and God’s Mercy
Jonah receives a call he doesn’t like and flees. Incurring the wrath of God, he is swallowed by a fish. From its belly, he prays for salvation and is shown mercy. Now comes the hard part: learning to be glad that the mercy God has shown him is not exclusive but universal. He may not come around. Will we?
