LAMA joins with the most vulnerable of our society to voice our common needs in the public square, activating our faith in love.
Monday, February 10th is Lutheran Day at the Legislature. Pastor Brian, Marsha and I will be attending. Though I have done similar visits with the Montana Legislature, this will be my first in Arizona. Nervous? Yes! (In Montana I had relationships with legislators built over the years. I don’t know any in AZ…yet!) Excited to share the concerns of Arizona’s most vulnerable? Absolutely!
Lent will soon be upon us (March 5). Be watching for information about the Lenten Challenge which will focus on water. Please consider being part of the challenge. More on that will be coming in the near future.
