Dear Friends,
“Chris and I are sitting with my sister Carol at her friends home in Carlsbad, Calif. The temperature is a cool 70 degrees with a bit of wind from offshore.
We just opened the cards that were given to me yesterday at the end of the service. The cards, and especially the words that were added by all the members, brought us to tears. They were heartwarming, kind and filled with love.
There were also many generous gifts as well. We were overwhelmed as we opened the cards. The love that was poured out to both Chris and myself was truly amazing.
We thank you all for your kind words and special gifts.
My thoughts now turn to the next chapter of our ministry at Bethlehem. The welcome you have planned for Pastor Brian and family is beautiful. May God continue to richly bless this ministry and expand our outreach to God’s beautiful world.
