I’M HERE!
It’s hard to believe that it has been two months since you voted to extend a call for me to be your next pastor.
It has been a whirlwind of finding a home, moving, starting school for our daughter Aubreigh, and so much more.  But through it all our family has felt so blessed.  We found a home, Aubreigh was able to start the school year in her new school from day 1, our home in Kingman had an offer after a week on the market, and we made our moves down here.
I snuck into my new office last Thursday before I started so I could get some boxes in and unpacked and naturally I saw about 10 people from the church that day.  It was great to see everyone and chat with them as I unpacked books and other things with Bekkah and our daughter Madisyn.  I’m still unpacking and there are lots of crosses that need to be hung on the wall, but it’s all going well.
While I get settled into my office and the ebbs and flows of the congregation, please don’t hesitate to call the church to chat with me, email me, stop by, text, or anything else you want to do.  I would love to chat with each of you and get to know you better on a one-on-one basis.
I look forward to our first worship service together THIS Sunday, September 5th.  I have seen all over the place that you are encouraged to wear your name tags and I greatly appreciate it.  Don’t hesitate to keep reminding me your name even if you have your name tag on.  I would appreciate that too.  Also, if I do mess up something at worship (which I think it would be a miracle if I didn’t goof something up) it’s ok to laugh or call me out on it.  I hope that we can all enjoy and be joyful in our worship together.
I’m excited to be here!  I’m excited to do ministry with you.  I’m excited for the future and what God can and will do through each one of us.  We have a powerful and loving God who is exceedingly good at making the impossible and unexpected happen.  Let’s be a part of it in each opportunity we have.
That’s enough rambling for now.
Blessings,
Pastor Brian
