Dear Friends,
Pastor Chon contacted me this morning to share that her mother, Mrs. Emily Karcher, died earlier in the morning. Emily had been living in a Mesa care facility for several years. Emily would have turned 83 on Friday.
Her memorial service will be held in North Carolina later this summer. Her grandson Rev. Dan Pugh serves an ELCA congregation in North Carolina.

Mom’s are very precious to us. May God’s loving and comforting Spirit grant peace to Pastor Chon and her entire family in this time of grief.
