Dear Bethlehem,
On Friday I spoke with the principal at Ishikawa school next door regarding the use of our parking lot for drop off and pickup. She informed me that they do not have enough crossing guards to be able to direct traffic at our parking lot. We decided it would be best for everyone that Ishikawa families no longer use our lot for pick up and drop off.
For the next several weeks the south entrance (entrance by Ishikawa) will be blocked by cones and a sign to help inform and direct traffic away from Bethlehem and Noahs Ark parking lot. The north entrance will remain open for Noahs Ark families and people who need access to the church during the week. There will be an identical sign at that entrance to deter Ishikawa families from entering.
On Sunday mornings the cones will be removed so that everyone will be able to access either entrance. After a few weeks the cones will be removed for open access to both entrances, but the signs will remain to remind Ishikawa parents of the lack of crossing guard staff and to refrain from using our parking lot.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during this period of adjustment.
Blessings,
Pastor Brian
